Throughout the years, the hospital’s high standards of service have been recognized both internally and by third party endorsements. Most recently, the TMF® Health Quality Institute awarded Kingwood Medical Center the Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Award of Excellence in the summer of 2009. Additionally, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) – the facility’s parent company – announced satisfaction scores for each of its 168 hospitals; Kingwood Medical Center ranks first in the Houston market and in the top 15 percent of all HCA facilities for Employee Satisfaction and seventh overall for RN (Registered Nurse) Satisfaction.
